does anyone know if a horse drawn sickle bar mower can be pulled behind an ATV?

That is an interesting question. As an engineering student (not mechanical though), my response is to try it and find out. In saying that, you must take caution not to hurt yourself, your atv, or your mower. I have never been around horse drawn equipment, but if you travel at speeds relative to that of a horse walking and the mower is capable of operating correctly I see no problem with it.

I know that there are types that are powered by the wheels turning as opposed to hydraulics or a motor. The problem that I've found is in locating them.
