Hey everybody, my name's Cait, I'm a student at the University of Wyoming. I'm currently an ag education major, but am considering a switch to communications and be a writer. I'm big on the sustainable agriculture and good food movement, and would someday like to own a small, free range dairy farm with heritage, dual-purpose cattle. I don't have any livestock anymore, sold all to move for college, but I was very active in the show rabbit circuit and have also shown/owned beef, dairy, sheep, goats, poultry, a horse, guinea pigs, and of course cats and dogs. I currently own a Border Collie (Bandit) and a rabbit (Eeyore). Feel free to message me, I don't have many friends yet being a freshman at college, so it's nice to have contact with the outside world :)

Wow, you're so lucky to be able to live in Wyoming. I've always wanted to live there, but unfortunately for me, my parents would rather not. xD
I'm new on here, too. The name's Mady, by the way. :]

Nice to meet you! We're originally from Michigan, but my folks moved to Wyoming for a few years from work (the MI economy is even worse than it looks on the news) and they went back, but as soon as I graduated I got married and we shot back here to Wyo :)

| Welcome, ladies! It is nice to know there are some young people out there who are like-minded. My husband and I are 'young' middle-aged folks who are also pursuing our lifetime dream of a self-sustaining farm. Right now we have one horse and 6 chickens and lots of blueberries and pears, but big plans for our 40 acre farm. You'll find the folks here very diversified and willing to share our knowledge.
