I had to pick Angus over all. I love Herfords, but the Angus have too many pluses to the so I raise mostly Angus or Angus cross. I love the fact that they are polled and the mega public relations campaign for Angus beef is hard to knock. Saying you have grass fed Angus beef with no antibiotoics or growth hormones seems to really bring in the buyers. Currently we are running mostly Angus with an Angus/Maine-Anjou bull that is throwing very nice calves.
