Well it seems as if my Bushog is obsolete. Granted it is over 40 years old. I lost the bearing in my tail wheel and I am not having luck finding the right sized bearings for it. Not just OEM bearings but any bearings as its an odd ball size. (1 inch ID/1.750 outside). The Bushog website does not even carry my model of mower so its obviously out-dated.
As is, the wrong bearings cost me $109.71 and that is before I have to take the original hub, go to my old work and turn down the inside bore by .300 over 5/16 of an inch!!
It's a lot of work, but in the end I should be okay. This is an old style bushog that was made out of thick steel and a gear box that is well built. The newer rotary mowers...even the famed Bushog brand are cheesily built so whatever I can do to make this work would be in my best interest. Hopefully my repair will last for years.

Tell a welfare recipient they must work and they call their congressman. Tell a farmer he can no longer work and he commits suicide. No wonder 1/2% of the population feeds the other 99-1/2%!!
