I need some help with a medical prob with 2 of my chickens, one day last week they could not use their legs. Cant stand or walk, one died yesterday and the other is still holding on. Any Ideas?

We had one like that too. We live in Louisiana and West Nile is a bad word around here. I got the bird tested and it came back negative THANK GOD! How old are the birds? Could they be egg bound or if just starting to lay they could of had an egg to bust inside of them. Been seeing any snakes latey? Did you check their legs and signs of scratches or unexplained bumps?
