Simple.. Roust from a small dog tent at dawn...build small fire of pine bits with pards in the dark.

using a standard 1860 US issue tin Cup or Mucker... dump whole/roasted beens into it... take one Springfield Bayonet held by the narrow and using the socket, crush beans... ad water from a beeswax lined canteen and boil without filter

Once black as ace of spades, ad a dash of icy cold water to settle bits to the bottom and drink quickly before that #(^*%$% ! with the bugle starts playing Musicians call.

Bustello or Pilon makes the best coffee. Same as they use for espresso or Cuban coffee(MMM GOOD) but used as regular coffee would be. Really gets me going in the morning.

The good news is where I live and work there isn't a coffee house. I would have to buy stock to make up some of my money back. LOL

However, we do have a MCD's and they have the McCafe's. I hate to say it but their espresso(s) taste burnt to me. I just get their reg coffee with the added sugar and cream. Now Burger King's ice coffee is okay when it's been a l-o-n-g trip to the nearest city with a car full of talkative kids.

My biggest problem is we have a Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks came to town a couple yrs ago and there's a Tim Hortons 20 minutes away

Lord keep you arm around my shoulder & your hand over my mouth

If God brings you to it, He will see you through it

CW - Farmermom must be a Canadian - Timmy's or Tim Horton's is a coffee and donut chain up here. It was started in Southern Ontario by a hockey player. Use to be all you could get was regular coffee and different donuts. They've expanded to include soup and sandwiches.

LOL...Farmermom lives in Maine and there are a lot of Timmy Horton's in Maine (though to be honest with you, I thought they were in much of the USA as well).

I love vegetarians...slice them real thin, dip them in ranch dressing and they compliment lamb quite well! :-)
