Outside on my property there are tons of flies. The unusual part is that they are all real low to the ground. Is this normal? How do I get rid of them?

There are some non chemical ways to do that.  Try planting sage and garlic along the boarders of your proprety, and around your house and all doorways.  Most flies will be low to the ground this time of year and during windy weather. Since most of their food sources are found on the ground.
